Shopify Theme Detector

Shopify theme detector that answers "what Shopify theme is this?" for any store, even when the store renamed its theme. Enter a store URL, paste its page source, or use the desktop bookmarklet, and get the theme name, price, developer, version and the apps the store runs. Free, no signup, nothing to install.

Every Shopify storefront embeds a fingerprint in its HTML: the theme's name, its internal ID, the original schema name and version, and, for official Theme Store themes, a theme_store_id. The detector reads that fingerprint in your browser and matches the ID against more than 300 Theme Store themes. Renaming a theme only changes its label, so when the label and the ID disagree, the ID wins.

To check by hand: open the store, press Ctrl+U, search for Shopify.theme, and look the theme_store_id up in the Theme Store ID lookup.
